Robert (Bob) Bittner is the Director of Energy and Physical Plant for Wake County Public School System in Raleigh NC . He has been in Maintenance and Operations for the past 35 years. He has worked both in the private and public sectors as Plant Engineer with Cummins Engine Company, Hospital Engineering, and Director of Engineering in the Pharmaceutical industry. Bob also worked for Johnson Controls World Services where he spent much of his time working in the education sector. He has served as local chapter president for the American Facility Engineers and also on the national board.

William Sandoval is Director of Business Development at Tridium. His responsibilities include guiding the company’s expansion into new markets and businesses including Telecom, Residential, and Latin America .

Prior to joining Tridium, William spent 12 years at Lutron Electronics and Philips Lighting Electronics, Inc. During this time he developed lighting control products such as Digital microwatt, and Equos. He also patented Spec Editor, a specification writing tool for the lighting control industry.

William holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Minors in Mathematics and Physics from Florida International University .

Stefano Strapparava, a Mechanical Doctor Engineer graduated at Politecnico di Milano - Italy .

He is the founder of Silver Star Engineering, a young Italian Company involved in the development of M2M applications and Smart Services at enterprise level.

In 2005 Silver Star Engineering has been recognised as Tridium OEM & Business Partner due to the completion of important projects at European level, related to the remote monitoring of machines in the fields of industrial and commercial refrigeration and Temperature Control for the Food Industry.

He has been in charge as Director of the Product Development Departments of multinational Companies like Liebert-Hiross Spa (now Emerson Network Power) and Ebara Pumps Europe Spa.

He was Director of the Service Business Unit of Arneg Spa.

John Sublett
Tridium, Inc.

John Sublett is a co-founder of Tridium and a software architect for the Niagara Framework. He is currently the lead engineer for Niagara Central, the online portal for the Niagara community. His work on the Framework has included design and implemention of the historical data collection subsystem for Niagara and the Baja Query Language (BQL). He also led the development team for the Vykon Energy Suite (VES). John received an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.

Gert-Ulrich Vack founded SysMik in 1990 and made it being a well established and innovative supplier of interoperable control products and network tools on basis of LonWorks-, BACnet- and DALI standards. He is leading the development of programmable controllers to be used as a complementary field level for the Niagara-AX environment. Gert-Ulrich Vack is representing SysMik in the BACnet-Interest Group Europe Europe, in LonMark International and in LonMark Germany . He holds a Ph.D in CS of German Ilmenau Technical University. He has been publishing many technical articles on open distributed control systems and WEB technologies and a book on a programming language.

Stuart Waterbury has more than 25 years experience associated with the analysis of thermal energy systems.  For the past 15 years he has been a senior engineer at Architectural Energy Corporation.  During that time he has led the development of several building energy systems diagnostics tools, including the ENFORMA® suite of portable diagnostic systems for HVAC and lighting systems, and most recently, the ENFORMA automated fault detection system. 

Stuart holds a MS in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University .

Rick Weisensale is the Product Director for Niagara Security bringing over 30 years of experience in the security and access control fields,.  In this role, he manages the on-going development of the new Niagara^AX security system.  Previous to this role, Rick was Director of Technical Support Services Department which provided Product Testing, Technical Support, and Production Engineering.  Prior to joining Tridium, Rick was Director of Engineering with responsibility for all management aspects of overall system design at Diversified Control Systems.  Rick has also held positions with Diversified Engineering, Inc. and Robertshaw Controls Company.
