This week, National Public Radio has been featuring segments on the history of Silicon Valley and the startup company culture. It’s been a fascinating review of how the area near San Francisco has been the spark of so many technology companies for the past 40+ years. I found today’s episode particularly intriguing because it traced the history of venture capital funding. This hit close to home because I’ve worked for several companies backed by VC money and Tridium is one of those companies.

I haven’t had much of an opportunity to blog lately…registration and exhibit sign-ups have been keeping me extremely busy!

When I heard about the passing of Steve Jobs (which I learned about on my iPad), I went to read what the Twitterati were saying. Those were the two memorable ones.
